Valeriy Valeriyovych Machuskiy
Junior Research Scientist at the Department of Political Institutions and Processes, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
In 2004, he graduated from the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University, majoring as a political scientist and teacher of political science. In 2006-2009, he studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
In 2009, he defended his dissertation on “Pedagogical principles of political socialization of high school students in the Russian Federation” (specialty 13.00.05 – Social Pedagogy) and received the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
In 2005–2011, he was a Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University.
V.V. Machus’kyy has been working at the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine since 2010.
Research interests: political regime transformation in the countries of the South Caucasus, the modern political elite of Ukraine, crisis phenomena in Ukraine.
