The monograph highlights the participation of the state and civil society in countering destructive information influences in the context of the current Russian-Ukrainian war. It has been determined that countering destructive information influences can be achieved not only by forming and spreading counter-discourse, but also through the implementation of other measures, in particular political and/or economic reforms, compliance with legislation on the State Language, which is an important method for shaping and preserving the State`s information space, as well as successful and timely actions by the special services. It has been argued that countering hostile destructive information influences should be based on an effective legal framework that meets contemporary requirements and contains norms designed to protect the information and communication environment, as defined within the relevant doctrine.

This monograph was prepared on the results of the research project "The Russian-Ukrainian War as a Conflict of Identities, Values, and Ideologies" (state registration number 0123U1000504).
