According to the Statute, the following Departments are functioning in the Institute:

1. Department of Theory and History of Political Science;
2. Department of Political Institutions and Processes;
3. Department of Political Culture and Ideology;
4. Department of Global Political Development Problems;
5. Department of Ethnopolitics.
