“UKRAINIAN STATE FORMATION OF THE NEW AGE: CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES”

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Ukraine, Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in cooperation with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, M.S. Hrushevsky Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, I. Krypakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine initiated the organization of a series of scientific events in the form of a web discourse with the general title “Ukrainian state formation of the new age: controversial issues.” The organizers hope to start a professional discussion among scholars about the key stages of modern Ukrainian state formation, the causes, circumstances, nature of their course, the consequences of these complex processes for both today and the future of the Ukrainian people.
