The materials of the second volume deal with the thematic scope of political science studies, which were conducted by social scientists in Ukraine during 1991-2016, the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of the national political science, its conceptional achievement, its contribution to the resolution of social and political problems, which appeared in the process of Ukraine’s development as a sovereign state.

The chapters of the volume discover the results of study, carried out by the Ukrainian scientists of the most significant objective areas of political science – trends of social and political transformation of our country, the institutionalization of its political scope, the society’s engagement to it at the level of its activity including the format of public organisations, achievement of consensus model in the Ukraine’s search of its niche in the globalized world and the other aspects of national political existence.
